Rebecca McGown

Rebecca McGown is a horn performer and educator based in Northeast Ohio. She holds a Master of Arts in Music Education from Case Western Reserve University as well as a Master of Music Performance degree from the Yale School of Music and a Bachelor of Music Performance degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music. Her teachers include Richard Solis, William Purvis, and Alan DeMattia.

 

Ms. McGown plays with several ensembles, including the Erie Philharmonic and the Cleveland Pops. She also works with the student ensembles at Kent State University and is a recent alumnus of Kent Blossom Music Festival.
